We are seeking candidates for future opportunities as Schedulers in the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga / Toronto). The Scheduler will be responsible for developing and monitoring schedule(s) throughout the lifecycle of various projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and prepare master engineering and planning schedules.
  • Provide risk assessment and value engineering input
  • Develop the Work Breakdown Structure
  • Develop Preliminary Project Baselines Schedules
  • Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
  • Support schedule risk analysis and schedule contingency determination.
  • Develop network logic to support integrated engineering schedules.
  • Develop cash flow and resource curves based on project estimates and the project schedule
  • Analyze Contractual requirements and milestones; compliance analysis of the schedule
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team involved in providing inputs to the Work Breakdown Structure
  • Develop Baseline Schedules reflecting engineering and construction logic sequencing
  • Develop Schedule narratives demonstrating that Proposal Schedules accommodates Contractual requirements, as Submittal requirements, Construction Phasing and Staging Plans
  • Perform analysis of schedule data; communicating issues, and areas requiring
  • attention to the Engineering Project Team
  • Coordinate monthly schedule reporting, including schedule forecast updates and schedule contingency management
  • Other duties as relevant to the role

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of proven experience in planning and scheduling of major civil infrastructure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Design/Build, P3 civil (roads, bridges and tunnels) and buildings construction Engineering process
  • Previous experience in supporting the bidding process
  • In-depth knowledge of project management/scheduling software Primavera and Tilos is a must
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
