    ACCIONA is present in the country through its division of Water and Construction.

    It started its activity in Panama in 2013 with the Specialized Hospital Center Dr. Rafael Hernandez in the district of David and today has more than 5 completed projects.

    ACCIONA has built plants such as Sabanitas II, which will provide 114.000 m³ of water daily to the towns of Sabanitas, Puerto Limón and Cativá, among others, which will benefit 150.000 people.

    It is also developing one of the most important road projects in the country: the rehabilitation of the Pan American Highway, section: Puente de las Américas – Arraiján. It consists on the construction of a road of almost 12 km that will give a mobility solution to the inhabitants of the province of Panama West.

    Study, design, construction and maintenance on works for the expansion and renovation of the Pan-American highway, bridge of the Americas – Arraiján section, Panamá oeste province.

    Study, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the drinking plant Ing. José G. Rodríguez. With an investment of 212 million balboas, this new plant will produce around 150,000 m3/day of drinking water in its first phase, although its design allows for a future extension up to 227,000 m3. 

    RAFAEL HERNANDEZ MEDICAL SPECIALITIES CENTRE

    RAFAEL HERNANDEZ MEDICAL SPECIALITIES CENTRE

    Technical studies, urban and architectural designs, plan creation and approval, and construction of the Dr. Rafael Hernandez medical specialities centre, located in the district of david. It's one of the country’s largest hospital projects and, once built, it will have 56,500 m2 of floor area, 331 beds and it will be the primary hospital in the Chiriquí province.

    SABANITAS II WTP

    SABANITAS II WTP

    Study, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Sabanitas II Water Treatment Plant.

    • Plant capable of treating 1.31 m3/sec (30 MGD).
    • The adduction line will be 48 inches in diameter and 1.4 km long.
    • The adduction line is some 8.80 km long and will include variable-diameter pipes, from 48 to 12 inches.
