Value circle
We want sustainability to be extended throughout our suppliers, contractors and collaborators.
Moving towards an increasingly more sustainable business involves expanding the challenge to the Company's entire value chain. At ACCIONA we convey our commitment to sustainability among our suppliers and customers through the dissemination of ethical principles to the supply chain, creating a vendor rating system and analyzing sustainable products and services for customers.
Supplier plan
ACCIONA aims to establish with its suppliers a relationship based on trust and cooperation, where the implementation of sustainability standards will contribute to mutual benefit.
Contracting term
In all its orders and contracts, ACCIONA includes several provisions relating to responsible business conduct. These provisions request suppliers to show proof of compliance with the Law on Social Integration of the Disabled (LISMI), the Organic Law of Effective Equality of Women and Men, and the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact.
Procurement Corporate Standard
Through its Procurement Corporate Standard, ACCIONA aims to build relationships of trust and collaboration with its suppliers based on transparency and objectivity, paying particular attention to workplace safety, reliable supply of goods and services and, especially, the extension of ACCIONA's commitment to sustainability throughout the supply chain.
Supplier CSR and Sustainability Model
ACCIONA's Supplier CSR and Sustainability Model identifies a number of responsible business practices. ACCIONA evaluates the performance of companies in its supply chain on the basis of these practices, rating suppliers with which it has the strongest business relationship. The result of this assessment allows us to advance our relationship with our suppliers and our sustainability performance.
Knowledge management
Knowledge management at ACCIONA takes place through a series of policies, initiatives and actions aimed at the creation and transfer of information and knowledge. The aim is to substantially contribute to improved outcomes.
ACCIONA has a general knowledge management model whose goals for 2010-2013 are to identify the knowledge of the company and experts in each area, develop strategies to make available the knowledge gained in the organization and establish new forms of collaboration between individuals, work teams, within a business, between businesses and between countries.
