Water technologies
At the Technological Center of Barcelona, R&D activities are being carried out for water management technologies.
This Center has the central laboratories
of Prat del Llobregat and a group of pilot plants, one of the most
outstanding of which is located in Tordera (Barcelona) for field
experimentation. These laboratories are a reference point in
technology with the most modern analytical membrane
characterization techniques: planar membrane testing systems and
chromatographic techniques and modules (HPLCand exclusion,
GC/MSchromatography), porosity characterization, organic fouling
characterization, membrane flow potential measurement. Similarly,
there is a microbiology laboratory which has the latest analytical
advancements.
