ACCIONA has invested ten million dollars in Nth Power Fund IV, a venture capital (VC) fund managed by the US firm Nth Power and devoted solely to clean-tech projects.
ACCIONA collaborates with Nth Power in the VC fund's investment analysis processes -this helps to identify and analyze renewables opportunities that might be of interest to ACCIONA, in wind power, solar and hydro energy, biomass and bio-fuels.
Since it was first set up in 1997, Nth Power has invested in more than 45 companies. Nth Power's activity focuses on companies at their outset or on the verge of taking their products to market and with strong growth potential; these companies are engaged mainly in energy management, distributed generation, energy storage, advanced materials, solar technology, bio-fuels and services.
