    A rapidly growing portfolio of potential projects for ACCIONA in Australia has been bolstered by the shortlisting of the company's consortium for the operation and maintenance of water supply, wastewater and recycled water services in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia.

  • ACCIONA opens 25m euro wind turbine blade manufacturing facility at Lumbier (Navarre, Spain)

    The opening ceremony was led by Miguel Sanz, President of the Regional Government of Navarre.

    With the Lumbier facility, ACCIONA incorporates the production of a strategic component of a wind turbine and enhances its position in the wind power value chain.

    The plant's initial 64-strong workforce (May 2010) will expand to 148 in September of this year.

  • ACCIONA Agua, selected for Perth (Australia) water plant project

    Investment could come to more than 200 million euros.

    ACCIONA Agua as part of the Helena Water consortium, including United Utilities Australia, Brookfield Multiplex and Royal Bank of Scotland, is one of the two groups shortlisted by the Water Corporation - representing the government of the State of Western Australia - for the design , construction, and operation of the Mundaring Drinking Water Plant, located near the state capital, Perth.
