Acciona would like to thank all the media for the special interest it is showing in the company's acquisition of a stake in Endesa.

Faced with the countless facts, rumours and third-party statements that are published in the different media every day about possible conversations, meetings, acquisitions of interests by other possible shareholders of Endesa now or in the future, and their opinions and comments, ACCIONA wishes to make it absolutely clear that it will not confirm, deny or discuss any of these facts, rumours, interpretations or speculations. 

ACCIONA is required to communicate to the CNMV any significant new developments in relation to this matter, as it has been doing and will continue to do. Any communications will first be directed to the CNMV and then to the media in writing and/or via their web pages.

ACCIONA wishes to put on the record that communications will only be made through this channel or through its Chairman, José Manuel Entrecanales Domecq or, where necessary, through its official spokesman who is authorised to deal with this matter, Javier de Mendizábal Castellanos, General Manager of Institutional Relations, and through Jorge Vega Penichet,  Secretary to the Board of Directors. Any other "sources linked to the company" are not officially sanctioned or validated.
