ACCIONA is at the forefront in the design and application of advanced HR management tools when it comes to training the Company's professionals.
A clear example of the key role we assign to education is the creation of the ACCIONA Corporate University, a challenge undertaken by the Company years ago and which it has risen to with flying colours. The numbers speak volumes: 3,449 courses offered last year and an average of 26 training hours per employee.
Not to mention the ACCIONA Corporate Training Centre, with its modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology (videoconferencing, domotics, e-library, etc.) and where more than 10,000 employees received training last year.
The ACCIONA Corporate University is supported by technological solutions such as the Virtual Campus (an e-learning platform with a 2.0 approach) and the Learning Management System tool which coordinates the training offered in all business lines by integrating "in person" and "on-line" courses.
The ACCIONA Corporate University is also connected to the outside world through its working ties with academia, professional associations, business schools etc. Prime examples of this kind of activity include the training programmes offered by Spain's EOI business school, such as the ACCIONA Executive MBA and the ground-breaking ACCIONA MBA in Sustainable Economic, an innovative and pioneer programme in the market.
