Social development
Social development is an integral part of our management model.
ACCIONA believes that social development and business success go hand in hand. In other words, success in business is essential to development, while at the same time, development is essential to new business opportunities. Businesses able to find a balance between these challenges in their management models are those that will be successful in the long-term.
ACCIONA’s commitment to social development and sustainability is defined by two key tenets from the management model:
As a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), we are willing to assume a significant role in the creation of sustainable models for living and in the development of more prosperous societies through our actions.
The ACCIONA Social Action Policy was established in 2007. With this new tool, the company hopes to formalize our commitments to establish strategic plans of action, to monitor our contributions and to measure their impact.
