ACCIONA´s Code of Conduct establishes the values that guide company and employee behaviour. It is a fundamental code of practice and influences all our activities: employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders and society as a whole.

In 2006, ACCIONA began a unification process of standards and codes of conduct of the Group in order to create a single text for all divisions. The resulting Code of Conduct, operating since 2007, has introduced a new Code Commission, a body that ensures compliance and enables employees, through the Ethics Channel, to report breaches or suspected breaches of the code directly to the Commission, anonymously or otherwise.

All the necessary procedures are in place to ensure confidentiality of communication with the Code Commission.

To reinforce acknowledgement of Code and Procedure Regulations, 40,000 bilingual texts were produced and distributed throughout the company.

In addition, the text has been translated into Portuguese, Polish and French for distribution in the respective international offices. By the end of 2007, more than 38,000 issues were individually delivered to each ACCIONA employee and third parties.

Since then, we have been distributing the new code to all new employees and third parties working with the company.
